Announcements
1. Homework 13 (the last Lon Capa assignment for the semester) is due by 9 am December 2.
2. I changed my mind on Quiz 6. Quiz 6 will also be split up into two 10-point quizzes. The first 10-points will come from a take home quiz. The take home quiz will be distributed during lecture on Wednesday, November 18 and is due at the start of Discussion secion on Tuesday, December 1. The second 10-points of quiz 6 will be an in-class quiz during Discussion section on Tuesday, December 1. The scores on these two 10-point exercises will be summed to give your quiz 6 grade. 3. Hour Exam 3 is 7 pm Thursday, December 3. Room assignments for the exam are posted under the Eam Information link to the left. The conflict exam is at 5:30 pm. The sign-up sheet for the conflict exam is located along the first floor hallway of Chem Annex, opposite 101 CA. If you need to take a conflict to the conflict exam, email Tom Hummel (tjhummel@illinois.edu) to set up a time to take the exam.
4. The dates for the final exams are:
102C/L Final - Monday, December 14 from 8-11 am.
102D Final - Friday, December 11 from 1:30-4:30 pm.
102F Final - Tuesday, December 15 from 1:30-4:30 pm.
You must attend the final for the course you are registered for. Because the time for our final is dictated by the time lecture meets, if another course says their final is at the same time as your 102 final exam, the other course must give you the conflict exam. The only accepted reason for taking a conflict exam for chem 102 is if you have three or more finals in a row. If you have three consecutive finals scheduled, contact Tom Hummel to arrange a time to take a conflict final exam.
